Meet our Landscaping Design Team

Hunter Stubbs is the President and Owner of the B.B. Barns Landscape Company. He received his Undergraduate and Master's degrees from N.C. State University in the fields of Business and Horticulture. Hunter was the Director of Horticulture for the Richmond Hill Inn for 10 years, and was responsible for developing one of the premiere resort gardens in the southeastern United States. Gardens and articles by Hunter Stubbs have been featured in Carolina Gardener, Southern Accents, Smokey Mountain Living, Fine Gardening and Southern Living Magazines. In January of 2006, Hunter joined the B.B. Barns Landscaping Company as Owner and President.

Sabrina Mueller is the Landscape Designer and Horticulturalist for the B.B. Barns Landscaping Company. She received her BS in Landscape Horticulture and Design from N.C. State University. During her college career, Sabrina worked for the JC Raulston Arboretum, and Gaia Garden design installing new landscapes. In the summer of 2004, Sabrina performed an internship at Mountain Gardens located just outside Burnsville, NC where she worked with the largest collection of organically grown native Appalachian and Chinese medicinal herbs in the eastern United States. Her passion is encouraging people to reconnect with nature and our ecosystems. This passion shows throughout her designs as she creates magical outdoor rooms to invite people into their landscapes.
