After you have decided to contact us for services, the consultation process begins with a telephone interview. Owner and Lead Designer Hunter Stubbs will call you to get an understanding of your needs, whether they include a full service installation or a smaller garden service.

The on-site consultation follows this initial conversation. Hunter, or another knowledgeable member of the design team will arrive on-site with the information from the telephone interview so that we can maximize the efficiency of the site evaluation. Our expert designer will evaluate sun exposure, soil conditions, topography and existing plant material in order to create a plan that integrates your existing site with the vision you have for your future landscape. The on-site consultation is $85 per hour.

Design

Once we have a full understanding of your preferences and the site upon which we will create your garden, the B.B. Barns design team will create a detailed plan that will become the blueprint for your landscape. Gardens designed by B.B. Barns have been featured in such publications as Southern Living, Fine Gardening, Carolina Gardener and more. The quality of our work, and the quality of our plants are regarded as the finest available. This level of quality is what you can expect from the B.B. Barns Landscape Services team. Once the design is to your liking, the next step is Installation.
